Mr. Edward L. Bridges, age 88, of Boerne, Texas, passed away Sunday in a local hospital, retired rancher. Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Mae Bridges;
daughters, Mrs. M. A. Chism, San Antonio; Mrs. M. H. Dick, Natalia,
Texas; Mrs. Roy Harris, Odessa; Mrs. Raymond Barnes, San Antonio;son,
Edgar L. Bridges, Coah. Mexico; eight grandchildren; fifteen
great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; brother, A. K. Bridges,
Port Arthur, Texas; sister, Mrs. Velora Chick, also of Port Arthur;
number of nieces and nephews. Services 11 a.m. Thursday. Chapel

THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF EDWARD LESLIE BRIDGES READS:
THE STATE OF TEXAS: Known all men by these presenth, that I
COUNTY OF KENDALL: E. L. Bridges of the Sate and County
AFORESAID BEING: of sound anddisposing mind and
memory and knowing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death, do hereby make and publish this as my last will and testament, hereby
revoking any and all wills by me at any time heretofore made.
First: Idirect that all my just debts be paid out of my estate as soon after my death as possible.
Second: I will devise and bequeath unto my daughter Ethel Barnes
$1,600.00 then the remainder of my Estate to be equally divided among the following direct heirs. Vera Chism, Revelle Dick, Edgar Bridges, Della Harris, Ethel Barnes, and following Grand Children will get Carson Bridges part, namely Patricia Bridges, Leslie Bridges, Maxine Bridges.
Third: I do hereby nominateand appoint Della Harris executrix of this
will without bond, and I speciallyrequest that no further action there
be had in the probate court, other thanthe Proof and Probate of same and the fileing of an inventory appraisement andlist of claims in testimony, whereof I have here unto subscribed my name thereto.
