OBITUARY OF HESTER ANN MCDANIEL from Eldon Newspaper
"Mrs. Hester Ann McDaniel, 89, of 307 N. Maple Street, Eldon, dies Thursday February 17, 1983 at St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City.
Mrs. McDaniel, a native of Maries County, moved to Eldon from Greenwood in 1930.
She was born Feb 4 1894 to James R. and Mary Carnes Breeden. On Nov. 3, 1913 she was married at Argyle to Frank J. McDaniel, who died July 19, 1977.
Mrs. McDaniel was a member of the Oak Street Church of Christ. She also was a member of the National Association of Retired and Veteran Railway Employees and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 2442.
Surviving her are two sons, Roy McDaniel and Dewaine McDaniel, both of Eldon; four sisters, Mrs. Belva White and Mrs. Lizzie Dehne, both of Union, Mrs. Ollie Geil of St. Louis and Mrs. Emma Williams of Sarcoxie; and four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
One son, Harold McDaniel, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at 1 P.M. Saturday at Phillips Funeral home with Bro. Danny Fox officiating. Burial was in Eldon Cemetery."

‌Hester Anne and Frank Joseph were married in a religious ceremony on November 3rd, 1913 in Argyl, Maries County, Missouri. They had three sons named Roy Harley, Harold George and Dewaine Edward.

Harold George was born in August 1918 in Missouri. He died at the age of 64 in 1982 in Eldon, Missouri. He was buried in Eldon Cemetery, Eldon, Miller County, Missouri.4
Dewaine Edward McDaniel
Dewaine Edward was born on March 9th, 1923 in Freeburg, Osage County, Missouri.5 He died at the age of 68 on June 7th, 1991 in Veteran's Hospital, Mexico, Audrain County, Missouri. He was buried on June 9th, 1991 in Eldon City Cemetery, Miller County, Missouri.6
