The 1643 survey of Rowley states that he owned a 1 1/2 acre lot on Holmes St, bounded on the south side by the town's common lot. Master Leaver is known to historians by only one statement mase in Mourt's Relation (1622). "Since no Leaver appears in Bradford's crew list, it can only be assumed he was a member of the Mayflower's crew.
