BIOGRAPHY: His family lived in Fayette county, Iowa, near Arlington where he graduated from high school and later tought school near there. He was a farmer but also taught 7 years in the 1920's. During that time he and his wife and children were living in Lodomillo township Clayton county, Iowa. They moved to Arlington for a few years then to Maynard, Fairbank, Independence and Quasqueton, his last home. He and his wife Pearl were married 55 years.
