John Bradford was born on February 6th, 1774 in Granville Co.,NC. John Bradford's father was John Henry Pruett and his mother was Elizabeth Bradford. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Pruett and Mrs. Sarah Pruett; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Bradford and Mary Holmes. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, Thomas J., Henry, Mary, Sarah, Lydia, Elizabeth and Selah. He died about 1857 in Rutherford,TN.-
