"Sometime in the 1860's Philip and Mary moved with some of their children to Edwards Co. IL (near Albion). Part of the Howell family moved to Texas later, with some of them coming back to Edwards Co. I do not know the deat dates of Mary or Philip, but I believe they are buried in Edwards Co. IL.
‌Phillip and Mary B. were married in a religious ceremony on May 6th, 1830 in Cannelton,Perry County,Indiana. They had eight sons and two daughters, and also a child of unknown gender, named James, William Meridith, Samuel, Nathaniel, Philip, Jasper, Francis Marion, Sylvester, Mary, Angeline and ----------Howell.

Nathaniel Howell
Nathaniel was born in June 1837. He died at the age of 56 in 1893. He was buried in Centralia,Washington.
