General Notes
Leofric is probably her 2nd husband. Sister of Thorold of Buckingham, sheriff of Lines. Godgifu's ancestry is uncertain, but she was evidently of an old, noble family. She is the "Lady of Godiva" of legend. Had 1 known child.
‌Godfigu or and Leofric were married in a religious ceremony about 1030. They had a son named Aelfgar.
