The area of Christian County was first--------

1772---Known as Fincastle County

1776--Known as Kentucky

1780--Lincoln County

1792--Logan County

1797--Christian County---bounded by the Ohio River, Tennessee River, Missouri River, and boundry of Logan county on the lower half of the east side and Tennessee along the southern boundry.  By 1809 Christian County was surrounded by Caldwell, Hopkins Muhlenberg, Todd and Trig becoming smaller each time.
