Lydia Grey Mayo 
Lydia Grey was born on July 11th, 1749 in Edgecombe Co. NC. She died at the age of 68 on March 13th, 1818 in Pitt County, NC. She was buried in Penny Hill, Pitt, North Carolina.
Lydia Grey and James were married in a religious ceremony on October 18th, 1765 in Edgecombe, North Carolina. They had three sons and a daughter, named Dennis, Lemuel Job, James and Sylvia Peninah Ann.
