Richard Plantagenet was born in 1214 in Wincester, Hampshire, England.  He died at the age of 58 on April 2nd, 1272 in Newark Castle, Nottinghamshire.  He was buried on April 13th, 1272 in Hailes Abbey, Gloucestershire, England.
