‌Samuel Floyd and Lorena were married in a religious ceremony on September 14th, 1880.  They had eight sons and two daughters, named Rupert Ewing, Maurice Kentucky, Lacteal Reid, Samuel Floyd, Earnest Alexander, Minor Smith, Robert Loren, Donald Cyrus, Mary Elizabeth and Adelia Rachel.
