‌John and Elizaeth were married in a religious ceremony in 1808.  They had ten sons and three daughters, named William Stanley, Armisted, Lewis, Saunders, Andrew, Giles, Marshall, Jack, Oney, Jubal, Lurelia, Lettia and Amy.
