Teutberga de was born about 0879 in Arles,Provence,France.1   Teutberga de's father was Theobald I Count of Arles and her mother was Bertha Princess of Lorraine.  Her paternal grandparents were Boso I King of Burgundy and Ermengarde Princess of Holy Roman Empire; her maternal grandparents were Lothaire II King of (King of Lorraine "The Carolingian") Lorraine and Waldrada of Saxony. She had three brothers named Hugues of Arles King of, Hugh and Boso I Margrave of.  She was the oldest of the four children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Gui Count of Lucca Margrave of, Lambert of Spoleto Margrave of, Boso, Boniface Di and Ermengarde de.1
