‌Malachi A. and Louisa Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on August 31st, 1844 in Pike Co., AL.¹   They had four sons and eight daughters, named William, Thomas, John, Columbus, Amanda, Bethany, Catherine, Julia, Virginia, Louannah, Lavinia and Nancy.
