Mrs. Ella Wiggins Ringgold - Mrs. Ella Lurena Wiggins, 92, died late
Saturday afternoon in a Jonesboro nursing home after a long illness.
Mrs. Wiggins was a lifelong resident of Bienville Parish.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today in the Mt Zion
Baptist Church near Hall Summit with the Rev. Lavelle Kennedy
officiating, assisted by the Rev. E. Killingsworth. Burial will be in the
church cemetery under the direction of Robbins Funeral Home.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs., Lola Shaw of Jamestown, Mrs.
Rosa Gay of Hall Summit, Mrs. Myrie Elliott, Mrs. Effie Woodard and Mrs.
Elree Woodard, all of Ringgold, and Mrs. Lillian Herring of Haynesville;
four sons, Willie Wiggins of Jackson, Miss.; one sister, Mrs. Bertha
Caldwell of Saline; one brother, Charlie Kolb of Ruston; 40
grandchildren, 92 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
