Joseph M. WALKER (1370), born 4 May 1824 in Marshall County, Alabama,
died about 1863 at Vicksburg, Mississippi. He spent most of his later
years in Marshall County, Alabama, where he married Mary Elizabeth SIBLEY
in 1852. They had five children when he went off to fight in the Civil
War.
He never came back from that war, but the exact date of his death is
unknown. Family tradition says he died at Vickburg, AL
‌Joseph M. and Mary Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on November 24th, 1852 in Marshall Co., AL.1 They had a daughter named Nancy Jane.
