Mrs. Youngblood Is Buried At Old Lebanon Cemetery
Mrs. Minnie J. Youngblood, 78 died after a long illness Wednesday at 2 pm
at her home at Youngblood.
Surviving are the following children: Gus Youngblood of Shellhorn: Tom
Youngblood of Ansley: George Youngblood of Shellhorn: Mrs. Mann Green of
Youngblood: Mrs. Ola Law of Shellhorn and Mrs. H. G. Enzor of Andalusia:
one brother, Oliver Hurley of Winter Garden, Fla.: two sisters, Mrs.
Gertrude Jones of River Falls and Mrs. Mollie McGuire of Troy: several
grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many other relatives who mourn
her death.
Funeral was held at Old Lebanon today (Thursday) at 2 pm with the Rev.
Mack Brassell of Montgomery officiating. Burial in the church cemetery
with Rhodes Funeral Home in charge.
‌Miriam Jane and George Washington, Sr. were married in a religious ceremony on July 16th, 1878 in Pike Co., AL.1 They had three sons and two daughters, named Teddie, Augustus, George Washington, Jr., Ola and Lillie Mae.
