McKinneth was born in April 1849 in Georgia.1   He died at the age of 63 on February 3rd, 1913 in Opp, Alabama.  He was buried in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, Opp, Alabama.1 1

They had three sons and five daughters, named David Jackson, John Thomas, James Baten, Laura, Julia, Susan, Ida Lousie and Lula Lillian.
