Mrs. Faye Harmon McEwen
Funeral services for Mrs. Faye Harmon McEwen, 94, of Rockford, was held
Sunday, July 22, 2001, at 2:00 PM at Andrews Chapel United Methodist
Church, in Hanover, with the Rev. Johnny Clark officiating. She lay in
state from 1 PM until service time. The family received friends from 5
until 9 PM Saturday, July 21, 2001 at Curtis and Sons North Chapel in
Sylacauga. Burial was in Andrews Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers were
Charles Holman, Jr., Roger McEwen, Jr., Randy Rivers, Keith McDonald,
Phillip Neighbors, and Billy Holman.
Mrs. McEwen was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Tera
McEwen, two sisters, Belva Parks and Solome Burnett, and a brother,
Kamey Hardin. Mrs. McEwen taught school for over thirty years and was
dedicated as a teacher and loved by her pupils. She loved her family and
friends. She died Friday, July 20, 2001at Sylacauga Health Care. Curtis
and Sons North Chapel directed the service. Coosa County News, Rockford,

Faye Beth and Tera Anderson were married in a religious ceremony on August 8th, 1930 in Weogufka, Coosa Co., AL.1
