William was born on August 21st, 1782 in Halifax Co., NC.1   He died at the age of 76 on April 13th, 1859 in Chambers Co., AL.  He was buried in Bethel Baptist Church, Chambers Co., AL.1 1

‌William and Judith were married in a religious ceremony about 1802 in SC.1   They had three sons named Thomas Craddock, Robert Archer and John Robert.
