Rhys "Fychan" Ap was born about 1127 in Dynevor Castle, Llandilo, Carmarthenshire, Wales.  He died on April 28th, 1197 in St David's, Pebidiog, Pembrokeshire, Wales.  He was buried in Patron For The Building Of Tintern Abbey.
