General Notes
Turton states that the mother Alberic II was Clemence de Bar, who had married 1st Renaud Comte de Clermont, d. 1162. Ancestral Roots names the wife of Renaud de Clermont as Clemence de Bar-le-Duc, which is what she is named in my files, but says Clemence's 1st husband was Lancelin de Dammartin. Therefore I am following Peter Stewart that Alberic II's mother is an unknown first wife of Alberic I.
Unknown First and Alberic I Comte de were married in a religious ceremony before 1135. They had a son named Alberic II Comte de.
