Your dates are out of whack. Per Paul Reed message to Gen-Medieval "settled in Hainault, having resided with uncle, Baldwin IV... died 1170" Granted, not the greatest reference, but it is chronologically in line with what the major secondary sources say for his parents.
Note: The Baldwin who Curt refers to did die in 1170 while residing with his uncle, according to Paul Reed's message to the newgroup; but he was Roger de Toeni's younger brother, and uncle to this Baldwin. This Baldwin's dates match the contents of Paul Reed's posting to the soc.genealogy.medieval newgroup. I would like to thank Curt for the source. Later note: Curt caught his error and corrected himself before I posted this.
