Elizabeth Scales, daughter and heir of Robert de Scales, 3rd Lord Scales (b. c 1311, d. 13 Aug 1369, MP 1341-1369, Lord of the Manor of Worlington) and his wife Catherine de Ufford, daughter of Robert de Ufford, 1st Earl of Suffolk, and Margaret, daughter of Sir Walter de Norwich. Robert, 3rd Lord Scales, was son of Sir Robert de Scales, Knight, 2nd Lord Scales (b. c 1279, d. 20 Mar 1324/5, MP 1306-1322, Knight 1306, Lord of the Manor of Worlington) by his wife, Egeline, d. 10 Oct 1335, probably daughter of Sir Hugh Courtenay (50-30), Baron of Oakhampton, co.
