personal note: Cousin Martha and all genealogical source I have encounted give Cynric as son of Creoda--yet the Anglo Saxon Chronicles say Cynric son of Cerdic, and furthermore that Cynric was of a fighting age at 519 and maybe even 495. See notes under Cerdic.
