Prince of Deheubarth Rhys Gryg ap Rhys Prince of Deheubarth

Rhys Gryg ap was born about 1150 in Carmarthenshire, Wales.  He died in 1233 in Dynevor Castle, Llandilo, Carmarthenshire, Wales.

‌Rhys Gryg ap and Maud (Matilda) were married in a religious ceremony after 1210.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Philip Ap, Rhys Mechyll ap and Janet Verch.
