There may be two different people with similar names and wives, which even Ancestral Roots gets confused. This one (AR line 143-16), who d. 961, is proposed as father of Adelaide of Paris by Ancestral Roots referring to Brandenburg as a source. Then under the other one (AR line 191-14), who d. 916, AR states Begue's wife was Aupals (Alpais), natural daughter of Charlemagne, but that Brandenburg shows her a daughter of Louis I, "the Fair". A daughter of Louis I makes sense as wife of this Bego (d. 961), not the one who d. in 916.
Thus I use the reference for the other Begue's wife as a source for this Bego's wife. Of course they could be the same person, but Adelaide's dates would have to change dramatically if that were true.
