Rollo "The Dane" "The Granger was born in 0860 in Norway. He died at the age of 67 in 0927.General Notes
Credited with the first unification of the country, convertedthe Danes to Christianity, and conquered Norway. After hisBaptism his fathers pagan tomb was transformed into a Christianplace of worship.
Introduced Christianity into Denmark, he had the famous Jellingrune stone erected in his parent memory. He was fatally woundedduring a rebellion by his son and successor, Sveng I.
They had a son and a daughter, named William I Of Normandy and Gerlotte OF NORMANDY.
