Fulk I "The Red" was born in 0870 in Anjou, France. He died at the age of 72 in 0942.General Notes
Credited with the first unification of the country, convertedthe Danes to Christianity, and conquered Norway. After hisBaptism his fathers pagan tomb was transformed into a Christianplace of worship.
Introduced Christianity into Denmark, he had the famous Jellingrune stone erected in his parent memory. He was fatally woundedduring a rebellion by his son and successor, Sveng I.
They had a son and a daughter, named Fulk II "The Good" Macon And Nevers and Adele.
