Hugh XI de was born in 1221 in Lusignan, Vienne, Poitou, France. Hugh XI de's father was Hugh X de Lusignan , Count Angouleme\La Marche and his mother was Isabella Taillefer de Angouleme. His maternal grandparents were Aymer (Adhemar) Taillefer de Angouleme and Alice de Courtenay. He had a brother and a sister, named William de and Alice de. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry III Plantagenet King of, Richard, Joan and Eleanor. He died at the age of 29 in 1250 in Egypt, probably at battle of Mansurah.General Notes
