Edith FITZFORNE 
Edith was born in 1074 in Greystoke, Cumberland. She died at the age of 78 in 1152 in Hook Norton. She was buried in Oseney Abbey.General Notes
Credited with the first unification of the country, convertedthe Danes to Christianity, and conquered Norway. After hisBaptism his fathers pagan tomb was transformed into a Christianplace of worship.
Introduced Christianity into Denmark, he had the famous Jellingrune stone erected in his parent memory. He was fatally woundedduring a rebellion by his son and successor, Sveng I.
They had a son and a daughter, named Robert "The Consul" Of Gloucester and Elizabeth.
