Gospatric de Dunbar, 1st Earl of Dunbar; living c1115, when he seems to have been a signatory to the Charter of Scone by which the Abbey of Scone was founded; killed leading his men of Lothian in Scottish defeat by the English at the Battle of Standard (near Northallerton, North Yorks) 23 Aug 1138.
