Isabella "Avisa" FitzRobert was born in 1170 in
of Gloucester, England. She died at the age of 47 on October 14th, 1217.

King John divorced her on the grounds of consanguinity; her grandfather, Robert de Caen, Earl of Gloucester, having been an illegitimate son of Henry I Beauclerk. Burke also names her as Avisa, and is also known as Hawise; Joan; Eleanor; Isabella of Gloucester; and Isabella de Clare, Countess of Gloucester
Isabella "Avisa" FitzRobert and
John Lackland Plantagenet were married in a religious ceremony on August 29th, 1189 in
Marleborough Castle, Wiltshire.
