He [William de Munchensy] married, before 1186, Aveline, daughter of Roger (DE CLARE), EARL OF HERTFORD, by Maud, daughter and heir of James DE ST. HILAIRE, of Dalling, &c., Norfolk, &c. Aveline de and Geoffrey were married in a religious ceremony before May 20th, 1205 in 2nd husband 2nd wife. They had a son and a daughter, named John and Hawise.
