Maud de was born about 1282 in Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire, Wales.  Maud de's father was Patrick de Chaworth , Lord of Kempsford and her mother was Isabel de Beauchamp.  Her paternal grandparents were Patrick de Chaworth , Lord of Kempsford and Hawise de Londres , Heiress of Kidwelly; her maternal grandparents were William de Beauchamp , 9th Earl of Warwick and Maud FitzJohn. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Hugh Baron le, Philip I le, Aline le and Isabel le.  She died before December 3rd, 1322 in Priory, Mottisfont, Hampshire, England.

‌Maud de and Henry were married in a religious ceremony in Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire, Wales.  They had a son and four daughters, named Henry of Grosmont, Maud, Eleanor, Joan and Mary.
