Robert went to the crusades with his brothers and died at Mansura in Egypt. He disobeyed orde rs and rushed with his men and lead them to destruction in the narrow streets of Mansurah . That was the turning point for the Egyptian army who's moral returned with the arrival o f Mansurah of the new sultan, Turan Shah, and Louis't army had lost too many men to advance a ny further.
