Master General" of Roman Gaul
Note: All entries may not be completely accurate, as I have gotten some
information from other's GEDCOM's, emails, etc.  Most information has

Source: Edward James, "The Franks", pp 64-70. He was a famous
general who operated in Gaul and the area of the Salic Franks.
He held control over much of the area in the Paris/Soissons
area and west to Brittany. May have cooperated with Childeric
in a battle in 463 against the Visigoths. Most of his troops
were Frankish, not Roman, and he must have had extensive
relations with Childeric, the rex frankorum. Cites his death
in 465, either by poison or by by ambush. glc
