Sir Nicholas Erskine 
Nicholas was born about 1345 in Erskine,Renfrewshire,Scotland. He was an only child. He died before December 1406 in Kinnoull,Perthshire,Scotland.General Notes
...had two sons (the younger of whom Nichol, was ancestor of the Erskines of Kinnall). [Burke's Peerage]
Note: I do not find Kinnall in Scotland. I do find references to Kinnoull.
