Sobre los Ancestros de la familia Wartensleben ( About the Ancestors of the Wartenslebens) :
Wartensleben, Alexander Graf von , n el 15. 2. 1650 in Lippspringe/ Paderborn , fall  26. 1. 1734 en Berlin   (Militar , Gobernador) Educado por  el obispo del Condado de Paderborn, Fernando von Fürstenberg (1626-1683),.  Luego de varios cambios en su vida militar , ingresó en el año 1702 en la Armada Prusiana como General de Infantería.  Fue Gobenador de Berlín durante 32 años hasta el añó 1734 .  Desde 1702 fue Caballero de la Orden del Aguila Negra . En 1706 es ascendido a Mariscal de Campo como así  también fue ennoblecido con el Título de Conde  . El Duque de Wartensleben trató en vano de salvar la vida de su nieto el teniente Hans Hermann von Katte (1704-1730) , rogando por su vida al Rey Federico Guillermo I (1688-1740) . "soldierking" is la traducción directa de  "Soldatenkönig", nombre dado especialmente al Rey Federico Guillermo I, el cuál era un hombre muy fuerte y le gustaba vivir su vida usualmente como soldado.
Amaba a sus soldados mas que a su propia familia.

Graf Alexander von Wartensleben was brought up by the archbishop of paderborn, Ferdinand von Fuerstenberg (1626-1683).After several changes in the military services in 1702 he entered as a
general of the infantry of the prussian army. he became chief of the guard and secret war council.
For over 32 years (until 1734) he was the governor of Berlin. Since 1702 he was Knight of the .... Black Eagle,
in 1706 he was promoted to be a general field marshal and was also accepted into the reichsgrafenstand ... As grandfather of Lt. Hans Hermann von Katte (1704-1730) Wartensleben  went down on his knees in front of soldier king friedrich wilhelm I without success to save Hanses life.
