‌John and Nancy were married in a religious ceremony on February 5th, 1824 in Washington County, Ohio.¹   They had seven sons and four daughters, named Isaac R, Samuel Kelso, John William, Luther, David Murdock, William Nelson, Theadore Perry, Mary Ann, Seraph Dana, Hannah Nesbot and Ellenor Cook.
