to Dad. It was Irene Gaddy's photo, meaning that her
father had a brother named Walter. Also Irene Gaddy had a
postcard wtih a photo of Zearing Iowa that mentions Uncle
Sam. From this we think Charley Thomas had brothers name

From Interview with Hazel Powell Charley Thomas lived on 65
HWY between Burlington and Omaha, about 1 mile from
Burlington. He ran a 4th of July picnic where he lived. He
had a cart like a merry go round and rented places for
people to have stalls. Hazel thought maybe Charley Thomas
helped dirll wells in Iowa. Eva married Babe Oxford but
didn't live with hime long. She took care of her mother and
father when they were old. Clara had children by Clay
Biles, moved to Oregon? with him, came back to Arkansas and
divorced. She lived here a while then went back and maybe
remarried him.
Hazel thought Mrs. Kinzer, mother of Myrtle Kinzer, lived
