Sarah Best Taylor

Sarah Best was born on January 5th, 1800 in ,Edgecombe, NC.¹  She had three brothers and twelve sisters, named William, Allen, Joseph, Frances, Amy, Mary Ann, Temperence Seraphy, Taylor, Amy, Temple, Elizabeth Ann, Mary Ann, Charlotte, Delilah and Nancy.  She was the eighth youngest of the sixteen children.  She died at the age of 37 on January 16th, 1837.¹
