  According to Bobby Rohde, John Logan McLain's father
  disappeared when John was about 4 years ole.  They lived in
  Denver Co.  John came to ARk. about 1890. He was a friend
  of Geroge Russ owner of Elk Ranch who was also from Co.
  John worked at the Elk Ranch.
  
  According to Louise Rohde, John Logan McLain's father died
  in a blizzard between his barn and his house and they
  didn't find the body until Spring, when the snow melted.
  They lived in Colorado Springs (El Paso County)[576008.ftw]
