  In the 1920 Census where I found Ben Patterson and Rosie, the family
  before was James W. Mitchell's family. His parents were born in the same
  state as Rosie, he had a son named James A. and Rosie later named one of
  her sons James Arthur Patterson. This is how I arrived at the conclusion
  I am probably looking for James Arthur Mitchell as being their father.
