NOTE:
Followed the pagan cult of "Diana of the Ardennes of the nine fires." He organized and equipped the British expeditions of Hengist. Died before he saw their fruit.
According to "Lives of the Kings & Queens of France" little is known of Childeric except that when his grave was located in 1653, he was found "buried in full regalia, together with his arms, his jewels and his royal signet bearing the inscription 'Childerici regis.' "
He had been in Roman service and "helped Count Paul to recapture Angers from the Saxons in 468"
