NOTE:
There is a silver communion cup preserved, on which is engraved "The gift of David Fox, 1669," in the parish of St Mary White Chapel. David donated the land and money for the church. It is in Lively, Lancaster Co., VA.
Three hundred acres were granted in 1653 to David Fox, which he sold to Thomas Hobkins. They were bought by William Ball, who left them to his son, William, who in turn left them to his daughter, Margaret downman. She sold 50 acres to Richard Ball, 11 October 1709.
