Robert \De Stafford, who in the 25th Henry III [1241], upon doing homage and paying £100 for his relief, had livery Of his lands. This feudal lord was in the wars Of Gascony, 38th Henry III [1254], and in four years afterwards he had a military summons to march against the Welsh. He m. Alice, one Of the daus. and co-heirs Of Thomas Corbet, Of Caus, co. Salop, and dying in 1282, was s. by his son, Nicholas \De Stafford.
