‌Samuel and Priscilla were married in a religious ceremony on July 27th, 1843 in , Washington, Tennessee.  They had seven sons and three daughters, named Henry, James M., John, Francis Marion, John W., Reuben F., William C., Hannah, Julia and Ann.
