‌Orville Christopher and Orlena were married in a religious ceremony on October 22nd, 1887 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  They had five sons and three daughters, and also a child of unknown gender, named Thomas Henderson, Herbert, John Looney, Peter, Winton Christopher, Ada, Goldie, Grace and Gobal.
