‌Daniel and Mary were married in a religious ceremony about 1840 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.  They had six sons and eight daughters, named John, William, George, James, Joseph, Andrew, Zora, Nancy, Catherine, Priscilla, Mary, Charity, Martha and Mary Margaret.
